Project Overview
The Weis Markets Corporate Center serves as the company’s headquarters and first impression for employees, visitors, and business partners. T-Ross Brothers Construction was selected to modernize the building’s exterior by replacing aging decorative columns and renovating the entrance portico canopies with durable architectural metal finishes.
The Challenge
The existing faux aluminum columns and portico trim systems had reached the end of their service life. Years of weather exposure had left portions of the blocking and trim deteriorated, creating both aesthetic and maintenance concerns.
Because the work was being completed at Weis Markets’ corporate headquarters, renovations had to preserve the professional appearance of the facility while minimizing disruption to daily business operations. The new system also needed to improve long-term durability, weather resistance, and overall architectural appeal.
Our Solution
T-Ross Brothers developed a comprehensive renovation plan that completely transformed the building’s entrance features.
The project included:
Removal of the existing faux aluminum columns
Demolition of existing portico soffits, fascia, and trim
Installation of new pressure-treated structural blocking
Fabrication and installation of seamless architectural metal column covers
Installation of new architectural metal over existing spandrel panels
Replacement of the entrance fascia to match the new column system
Cleaning and preparation of existing structural steel
Painting of support steel and protective bollards
Installation of new barrel soffit panels, fascia, and edge trim
Complete sealant installation for a weather-tight exterior envelope
Final cleanup and site restoration
