Project Overview

T-Ross Brothers Construction completed the construction of the Selinsgrove Inn, a private 24-unit hotel and suites facility in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Designed to provide modern accommodations while complementing the character of the surrounding community, the project combines guest comfort, quality craftsmanship, and distinctive architectural details.

Designed by John Wert, RA, T-Ross Brothers provided construction management and commercial construction services for the wood-framed facility, coordinating all phases of construction for owner Scott Shaffer.

The Challenge

Hospitality construction requires careful attention to both the guest experience and the long-term performance of the building. For the Selinsgrove Inn, creating a quiet and comfortable environment was especially important, requiring enhanced acoustic measures to reduce sound transfer between guest rooms.

The building also needed to provide modern accommodations while fitting naturally into the established architectural character of downtown Selinsgrove.

Our Solution

T-Ross Brothers incorporated specialized acoustic features throughout the facility, including upgraded floor sound systems and acoustic sound clips within wall assemblies to help minimize sound transfer and create a quieter environment for guests.

Custom interior finishes were incorporated throughout the hotel, while detailed exterior brickwork was selected to complement the surrounding community. Our team coordinated these architectural and building-system requirements throughout construction while maintaining a strong focus on craftsmanship, durability, and guest comfort.
