Salem Lutheran Church Fire Restoration

Project Overview

Following a devastating fire that displaced the Salem Lutheran Church congregation, T-Ross Brothers Construction played a key role in restoring the church and returning an important place of worship and community gathering to Selinsgrove.

The project involved extensive fire restoration and rebuilding, with construction progressing throughout 2023 and 2024. The restored church officially reopened with a celebratory ribbon-cutting event in July 2024.

The Challenge

The loss caused by the fire extended far beyond physical damage to the building. Salem Lutheran Church serves as an important gathering place for worship, fellowship, and community life, leaving the congregation without its longtime home while reconstruction was underway.

Restoring the facility required careful coordination of demolition, structural rebuilding, interior restoration, and modern code and safety requirements. At the same time, the project needed to respect the significance and character of a space that holds deep meaning for the congregation and surrounding community.

The project included demolition of fire-damaged areas, structural rebuilding, interior restoration, and upgrades necessary to meet current building codes and safety standards.

While the congregation continued gathering in temporary and outdoor locations, our team worked to restore a safe, welcoming, and fully functional church where worship and community activities could once again take place.

The Results

Upon completion:
