Project Overview
T-Ross Brothers Construction completed the demolition and ground-up reconstruction of the McDonald’s restaurant in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, replacing the original building with a modern facility designed around customer convenience, technology, and efficient restaurant operations.
The project included complete removal of the existing restaurant followed by construction of an entirely new McDonald’s featuring updated dining areas, a modernized kitchen, digital technology, and improved drive-thru operations.
The Challenge
Rebuilding an established restaurant location required careful coordination of demolition, site preparation, utilities, new construction, and restaurant-specific systems within a highly visible commercial property.
The new facility also needed to accommodate evolving McDonald’s operational and technology standards while improving customer traffic flow and service efficiency. At the same time, the project provided an opportunity to preserve a small piece of the original restaurant’s history within an otherwise completely modernized facility.
Our Solution
T-Ross Brothers demolished the existing restaurant and coordinated the construction of the new facility from the ground up.
The completed restaurant incorporates self-order kiosks, interior and exterior digital menu boards, interactive children's play features, and a fully modernized kitchen designed to support efficient food preparation and service.
Outside, dual drive-thru lanes improve vehicle circulation and customer convenience, while a custom exterior finish package gives the new restaurant an updated appearance.
A distinctive Victorian light fixture from the original McDonald’s was preserved and incorporated into the new facility, providing a connection between the history of the Lewisburg location and its modern replacement.
