Project Overview

T-Ross Brothers Construction completed a major interior renovation for Matty’s Sporthouse Bar & Grill in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, transforming the existing restaurant into an updated sports bar and dining destination.

The project included extensive demolition, redesigned bar and dining areas, architectural enhancements, new finishes, and mechanical and electrical improvements designed to enhance both restaurant operations and the overall guest experience.

The Challenge

The renovation required a significant transformation of the existing restaurant while working within the constraints of the existing structure.

Outdated bars, booths, flooring, tile, archways, fireplaces, ceilings, and portions of interior walls needed to be removed to create a more open layout. At the same time, new plumbing, beer and soda lines, electrical infrastructure, lighting, and HVAC components had to be carefully coordinated with the redesigned bar and dining spaces.

Our Solution

T-Ross Brothers coordinated the renovation from interior demolition through installation of the new architectural finishes and building systems.

A major focus was the complete redesign of the central bar, incorporating expanded seating, custom bar elements, new brick archways, improved sightlines, and upgraded infrastructure. Dining and stadium-style seating areas were also renovated to improve customer flow and create a more cohesive sports-themed atmosphere.

Additional improvements included new tile flooring, updated wainscoting, refinished booths, ceiling renovations, upgraded lighting, HVAC revisions, and mechanical diffuser replacements. Hostess and POS stations, entry corridors, and circulation areas were also updated to improve functionality throughout the restaurant.
