Little League International
Project Overview
T-Ross Brothers Construction completed multiple construction projects for Little League International in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, helping expand and improve the facilities that support teams participating in the Little League World Series.
Beginning with the Baseball and Softball Administration Building and office remodel in 2009, T-Ross Brothers later constructed a new Dormitory, Infirmary, and Laundry Center within the Grove Area. Each facility was designed to increase capacity and functionality while maintaining the established architectural character of the campus.
The Challenge
Construction within the internationally recognized Little League World Series campus required careful coordination between new facilities, existing buildings, tournament operations, and established architectural standards.
As participation and campus needs grew, Little League International required additional lodging, medical treatment, and operational support space. The new buildings needed to provide this expanded capacity while integrating seamlessly with the custom finishes and appearance of the existing Grove Area facilities.
Our Solution
T-Ross Brothers constructed three new facilities designed around the specialized needs of Little League International and participating teams.
The new 8,642-square-foot, two-story Dormitory connects with the existing dormitory buildings and features masonry load-bearing construction, split-face veneer, vinyl siding, and standing seam roofing.
A 2,013-square-foot Infirmary expanded the campus's healthcare capabilities with two exam rooms and four larger treatment rooms. The wood-framed building incorporates split-face veneer and standing seam roofing to complement surrounding facilities.
The new 2,500-square-foot Laundry Center provides additional operational capacity with eight commercial washers and dryers, helping accommodate the demands created by teams and players participating in the international tournament.
