Immaculate Conception Church Exterior Renovations

Project Overview

T-Ross Brothers Construction completed extensive exterior renovations at Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, Pennsylvania, restoring and upgrading the church’s exterior envelope while allowing the facility to remain operational throughout construction.

The project encompassed approximately 12,000 square feet of roof and vertical wall surfaces, including portions of the church’s bell tower, with improvements designed to enhance weather protection, energy performance, and long-term durability.ordination with HVAC modernization work.

The Challenge

Exterior renovation of an occupied church required careful sequencing to protect the existing structure while maintaining safe access for the congregation and visitors.

Existing wood shake and asphalt shingle systems needed to be removed and replaced while keeping the building weathertight throughout construction. Work also had to be coordinated around church services, daily operations, special events, and funeral services.

Our Solution

T-Ross Brothers coordinated removal and replacement of the existing roofing and exterior wall materials, along with re-insulation and reroofing improvements designed to increase energy efficiency and protect the structure from moisture and weather-related deterioration.

The project included new roofing systems, flashing, edge details, drainage coordination, exterior trim improvements, and specialty roof installations. Particular attention was given to materials and installation methods capable of accommodating thermal movement and long-term exposure to changing weather conditions.

Throughout construction, our team implemented temporary weather protection, moisture control, dust control, and occupant safety measures while carefully scheduling work around the church’s ongoing activities.
