LEWISBURG — Four large sea containers will be used as a new training facility for the William Cameron Engine Company of Lewisburg. T-Ross Brothers Construction donated the large crane needed to move the giant containers into place. Fire Chief James Blount says building a training facility for firefighters could cost more than a million-dollars, so firefighters across the country have found ways to save money and build shelters from other products. The containers will be transformed into a mock building, which can be set on fire, and then firefighters can learn how to put out the fire properly. The training site is located off of Saint Anthony Street in Lewisburg. T-Ross Brothers Construction was proud to partner with the fire company to help them with their training efforts.
