The facility is the regional distribution center for FedEx Ground. The structure is a 46,500 SF pre-engineered building designed around the automated package sorting equipment and the route truck loading areas. Long span joists, integrated with open span frames provided the flexibility the Owner needed for his operation. The building is equipped with a number of dock height receiving doors and grade level doors that provide access to the building. The building features a standing seam metal roof with a high R value insulation that provides a long term maintenance free roof system that is economical to maintain.
