Church Marches Toward Future
Re-dedication slated in Berwick
T-Ross Brothers construction worker Mark Moore, right, at top of the lift, applies cement board siding to the bell tower of the reconstructed Grace Lutheran Church at the corner of Fairview Avenue and Arch Street in Berwick on Monday. The 107-year-old former sanctuary was demolished in May.
Interior drywall work continued, at left. The Rev. Chad Hebrink said the new sanctuary will be dedicated on Sunday, December 6, with Bishop Robert Driesen. The cost of the reconstruction is $675,000.
